Aaron Rodgers To Start Sunday Vs. Chicago Bears, Tony Romo’s Status Still Up In The Air.
Via ESPN: Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers will start Sunday’s NFC North showdown against the Chicago Bears, returning less than two months after suffering an injury to his left collarbone.
That’s about all you need to know. Aaron Rodgers will be under center on Sunday as the Packers take on the Bears for a winner-take-the-division matchup. This is big because if the Pack win, they get a home game. They won’t get a bye, but getting back one of the best QBs in the game won’t hurt. With the Bears sporting one of the worst defenses in the game, having Rodgers back should be the boost the Packers need to return to the playoffs.
Meanwhile in Dallas, no one has heard from Tony Romo this week. After getting an epidural on Monday, everyone has been non-committal about Romo’s chances on Sunday. My guess is he doesn’t play but I’m pretty sure that if he’s given an opportunity he’s going to go. People hate on Romo, but that guy is the truth.
On conference call with Dallas HC Jason Garrett. No commitment regarding QB for Sun. Orton taking practice reps. “Day to day” for Tony Romo.

Day to day means we’ll know about 1pm on Sunday what’s really going down even if it seems Orton is set up to start week 17.
