Bear Grylls Tweeted A Picture Of His Producer’s Snake Bitten Leg And I Threw Up. (Graphic)

From the HuffPost:  TV survival expert Bear Grylls tweeted an extremely graphic photo Tuesday of a”Man Vs. Wild” producer recovering from a venomous snake bite on his foot.  The graphic image — embedded below — shows the producer, Steve Rankin, getting medical treatment for his wounded appendage. Much of the flesh from the top of his foot has been eaten away by the venom, leaving his bones exposed.  A Discovery source tells HuffPost TV the photo was taken three weeks ago, when Grylls and Rankin were shooting a new series for the network called “Naked & Afraid.” Since then, Rankin has undergone surgery for the wound, and his prognosis is very good.

So real talk, this is gross…

What. The. Fuck.  Listen, this is why I don’t fuck with snakes.  Never have, never will.  Quick tangent, I was mowing an athletic field when I was younger and I came across a snake with a HUGE frog in his mouth.  You want to know what I did?  I turned off the mower and ran away.  Waited about 10 minutes and then went back, got the mower, put it away and went home.  I’m not playing with anything that can do what this snake did to this guy’s leg simply by biting it.  No thank you.  I’ll live to fight another day.
